Let's talk about gamification

gamification
/ˌɡeɪmɪfɪˈkeɪʃ(ə)n/
noun
noun: gamification
the application of seperative game playing elements such as differentiated paths, competition, gathering points, play rules to real life activities, typically as a business development factor to increase participation of employees or customers in any event like training, process handling, marketing events, etc.

Gamification does not mean trendy game applications but it refers to gamifying real life events in their own environment. You can gamify your e-learning courses so that your employees start talking about their scores or alternative paths to  reach a goal.

Even there is no scoring at a gamified training, trainess do pay more attention to course content compared to a traditional single path training.

It’s an area with wide opportunities which we can discuss in a meeting… Remember, any process in your organization can be gamified 🙂
